The Chagrin Falls Dads Club Poker Tournament returns — tighter format, harder cap, same legendary room.
If you’ve been in that room before, you don’t need convincing. You already know what happens when 100-plus dads who take poker way too seriously get together at the Township Hall with chips on the line and nothing on the schedule until midnight.
This time we made it cleaner. Smarter. No re-buys. No late entries staggering in after the start. Just cards, competition, and a hard stop at 110 players — period.

Entry fees
Total entry is $100 — $50 for tournament play and $50 covering food, beer, and your CFDC contribution.
Optional add-on: An additional $50 at the door or in advance gives you $5,000 more in chips. That $50 is split — $25 goes to CFDC and $25 goes into the prize pot. One-time only, before the first hand.
The rules
- No re-buys. You’re in, or you’re out. Manage your stack accordingly.
- No late entry. Cards are in the air at 6:45 PM sharp. Everyone starts together.
- Hard cap at 110 players. When it’s full, registration closes — no exceptions.
- Tables combine to the final table when 10 players remain.
- No outside food or beverages — food and beer are included in your entry fee.
- Host reserves the right to revise the blind schedule if the midnight end time becomes an issue.

Top 15% of entrants win. Based on 110 players with 100 taking the add-on:

$50 tournament entry = $10,000 in starting chips:
Optional add-on: $50 = $5,000 more in chips (5 Yellow or 1 Grey chip, depending on supply). Available at the door or in advance — one time only, before the first hand.
Blind schedule
15-minute levels. 20-minute chip-up break after Level 8.
After Level 19, big blind and minimum bets increase by $20,000 every 10 minutes until the tournament concludes.
