About the Chagrin Falls Dads’ Club
We care about our families, our schools and our community and continually look for ways to make them better. We’ve found that membership in the Chagrin Falls Dads’ Club to be a great way to make all of them better at the same time.
Our Mission
Founded in the fall of 1996, the Chagrin Falls Dads’ Club (CFDC) is a nonprofit corporation with two primary goals: To improve the educational, recreational, and social opportunities available to the children of the Chagrin Falls School District, and to promote good fellowship and a sense of community among all who participate in our organization and in our events.
Our Accomplishments
The Dads’ Club has proudly raised more than $350,000 for our schools and community since our start in 1996.
- $30,000 in funding support for interactive classroom technologies for all Chagrin schools (smart boards)
- Building the comfort station at the Gurney ballfields
- Financial and manpower support to build an outdoor garden space at Gurney
- Financial and manpower support for the new playground at CFIS
- Funding for the CFHS Quarterly Newsletter
- Funding support for the annual holiday show at Gurney Elementary
- Financial and manpower support for the bathroom renovations at Harris Stadium
- Funding support for the Gurney Playground fence (2008)
- Funding for the enhancements at the new Chagrin Falls auditorium
- Renovation and reconstruction of the Gurney playground
- Funding for a new storage facility at Gurney
- Financial support for classroom audio enhancements at Gurney Elementary
- Grading of the Gurney Ball Fields
- Funding for continuing teacher education
- New Basketball backboards and rims at CFIS
- Scoreboard and lighting at Champlin Field
- New power tools for CFHS art department
- New Wireless Computer Lab at Gurney
- Funding a workshop for new math curriculum
- Funding of a 5th Grade play
- Financial support for several CFHS plays
